Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens was the foremost pleasure garden of eighteenth and nineteenth-century London where a statue of Handel was erected. This concert and narrations will reflect how Handel’s music influenced and inspired his colleagues at Vauxhall - Arne, Worgan, Gladwin, Lampe especially.
